  1. I've used many different detergents in cold water, not just tide brands...and  I've never used Tide just for cold water...my first thought was its a scam!!

  2. It is a scam but so many people buy into it and purchase it at a much bigger price because they are ignorant.

  3. I have never used the Tide cold water NEVER... I thought it was a scam also ... I use liquid detergent and I always wash in cold water  even my whites now since my machine pour water on the floor if i wash in warm... but  i do not see any difference  from cold or warm water when i wash with any detergent...now my cousins mama used the tide cold water and she said that  her clothes came out of the washer smelling just like they did when they went in  and that she owuld never use it again ....Tide also gives many people skin irritations like no one in my family can use tide, and i went to this web site and got a free sample of tide with dawn stain scrubbers , and i washed my whites in it  where my husbands work sock were and  they came out the wash looking like they had not been washed and there was still stains on the white t shirts that comes out with my normal detergent which is Gain or sometimes i use powder Ariel...... so  anyway  you can use any detergent in cold water and get the same effects  as tide cold water  there is no difference read the ingrediantes on the back of the bottle  i have and they all seem to be the same  .... the only differnce seems to be is that Tide put cold water and the others dont  but  as long as the clothes get clean and you can save a lil money on energy and washing detergent because tide is expensive more so than Gain ....

  4. ~~~All laundry soap has been formulated for at least 20 years, probably much longer, to work just as well in cold as hot. Cold water is much better for your clothes. I only use hot on my linens, and I don't know if that's necessary, I just feel better about it~~~

  5. I disconnected my hot water hose. It leaked so I've been using only cold water. Who cares? Tide Coldwater is a push for going green as it takes energy to heat water.

As long as you're not paying more for it I like the idea of people using less hot water.

I don't see any difference in the detergent. I use any detergent in any water temperature. And like I said it's all cold.

  6. i've never had a problem with liquid detergent in cold water.  don't use powder in cold though.  i found out the hard way that it clumps up.  if the tide for cold water is more expensive, i wouldn't buy it.  a cheaper brand cleans just as good.

  7. the use of any liquid detergent will work just fine in cold water.I know because i've used just about all of them from the cheapest to the most expensive one

  8. Any detergent will work fine. I have done it for MANY years to save on energy bills.
