  1. There is not an admissions fee to tiergarten. You should check out Zoologischer garten when there, it is truly a fun and interesting experience.

Tiergarten/Zoologischer is well worth a visit, you can actually stay there all day, specially with your family ! :)

I dont know about lustgarten though. You can check out

    for some basic info :)

  2. both are just gardens and of cause for free entrance like any other garden (green area)

in Tiergarten are a lot of people in the summer and BBQ

    Lustgarten is more quite

    try Volkspark Hasenheide

and very beautiful is a small park with a little hill Viktoria Park at kreuzbergstrasse. Wonderful sight over Berlin, very quite and lots of nice evaporites and downhill is a nice place (southwest entrance) it's a tennis/sport track with a Club/Kantina with lots of nice people and music!!!!

  3. No, they are both free parks (although the Lustgarten is just a garden).

The Tiergarten also has the zoo (Zoologischer Garten) and there is an admission fee to that one.
