Tiger Woods, The fall of an icon!
Tiger Woods, this man is continuously deteriorating because of his behavior and his current form and it is extremely sad to see a worldwide phenomenon making silly efforts to shadow his current poor form by saying odd things at press conferences.
His career is a delight if we look back at his years of glory and consistent perfection. Briefly, Woods has single handedly took the world of golf by storm and broke every major record that ever existed. He has been at the number one spot at the World Ranking
for many years.
Talk about his iconic presence, his outclass precision play, his famous video game franchise or his multimillion dollar bank accounts, he has been the most popular name in the history of golf, period.
His life has been fantastic without a shadow of a doubt but achieving success is something every successful personality in the history has done, sustaining it is the trait of legends.
Woods was easily on the path of becoming legendary with his effortless performance in the fields of golf and with his humility at public appearances.
Then after the 2008 PGA season, the world saw Woods falling apart that brought an end to his consistent dominance in the world of golf.
After his knee injury, Woods was not seen shining or crafting an amazing play in the fields of golf, he was reported in the headlines as someone who is having an affair. This affair caused him his wife who divorced Woods and left him in his darkest moments
of his career.
Being absent from the PGA Tour in 2008 and his wife divorcing him left Woods nowhere close to his previous persona.
Woods then went on changing his swing coach which was the cherry on top of the misery cake he was making for himself with the worst ingredients possible. His new swing coach Sean Foley would single handedly cost him his entire career.
Foley faced extreme criticism as Woods carried on showing bad form. His miss at the Wells Fargo recently was purely because of his swing issues.
“It all has to do with my setup, if I get over the golf ball and I feel uncomfortable, I hit it great. It's just that I get out there and I want to get comfortable, and I follow my old stuff, and I hit it awful” said Woods after missing cut.
It has been four years since his last major championship win which is disappointing.
In his recent press conferences Woods has been a little too aggressive with the media. He seemed agitated and angry at the questions being thrown at him in regard to his poor form and bad swing habits.
Woods, previously remembered by his humility and smiles at the press conferences, made an early and cold exit by saying, “Have a good day”, after being questioned about his former coach’s book.
Woods looks cold, plays cold and these days, even his smiles are cold. The only person he can blame for his professional and personal decline is his own self.
His decisions after 2008 have been destructive and his personal life has fallen apart. Woods needs to realize the intensity of what appears as an end to his greatness. His behavior has not shown any sign of improvement and his level of play depicts the same
aspect.
The Tiger of golf requires a lot of reconstruction of his lost self as his life and the love of his life, both are walking on a thin line.
