Tiger Wood's Last Chance
The Chevron World Challenge is scheduled to take place on December 2nd. Hosted by the former world number one himself, this would be Tiger Wood’s last chance to win in 2010. Having a year of despair, Woods is now the defending champion of no tournament,
nowhere in the world. This is the first time in Tiger’s professional career that this has happened.
This event had not only been hosted by Tiger but been dominated by him as well.  Woods has not lost at Sherwood since 2005. Winning consecutively, there is a possibility that the ex-top cat of golf will end his winless drought. The last time Woods
won was last year at the Australian Masters in Kingston Heath. Even though Woods wanted to defend his title again this year at the Victoria Golf Course, things didn’t really work out for him.
The downfall of the fourteen time major winner started after his car crashed in November 2009. Following the car crash outside Wood’s Florida house, the news of his extra marital affairs came out in the public. Due to his infidelity, Woods had to face
a lot of problems. Woods and his former wife, Elin Nordegren tried a lot of counseling during the five month exile period that Tiger took. Woods was even sent to rehabilitation but despite but many efforts things didn’t work out. The couple called it quits
and got divorced in August 26th. The news of his scandals really spoiled his reputation of a good dad or a good husband. Media took every opportunity possible to defame the golf legend and obviously such criticism is bound to affect a human being.
Due to all the tension in his life, Woods' game also got affected. He posted his career worst when he shot an 18 over and finished in the 78th position at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.
"I have two weeks off and then play the Chevron so I am pretty excited about it," he told the media after his final-day heroics in Melbourne. "Some of the things I am working on are starting to gel but unfortunately not for the entire round. They are
too sporadic. So I'll do some more practicing when I get back home with Sean."
Well, hopefully the practice with Coach Sean Foley is good enough for Tiger to win this event and have at least one happy memory from the year 2010.
