The reporter was a friend of tiger's and said the advice for younger players is the only way to beat Tiger is to lynch him. Al Sharpton went nuts despite Tiger and his agent blowing it off. A Golf magazine put a noose on the cover.

yeah if tiger was white it wouldnt be an issue, but he isnt and it is, seeing has how she has been an educated reporter for a while she could have used another analogy, and golf magazine wrote up a big thing on it in there new magazine with the lynching rope on the cover

At the Mercedes Championship, Nick Faldo and Kelly Tilghman were discussing were there any young golfers that could challenge Tiger.  Nick Faldo stated that all the young golfers should gang up on Tiger in a joking manner.  Kelly Tilghman added that they should take him in a back alley and lynch him.  A very poor choice of words being that Tiger Woods has African American heritage.  She apologized to Tiger for her statement.  She meant no harm in her statement.  They have known each other for a long time.  Tiger accepted her apology and said it was a non issue.  The Golf Channel did suspend her for 2 weeks.  Ironically, she will be back in time for Tiger's first tournament which is next week.  A big deal was made about this in the media because of the Don Imus ordeal.  The difference was Imus wasn't joking when he said what he said and he did not know any of the Rutgers players personally.

She was said it was racially charged and Tiger has forgiven her, taken no offense, and plans to ignore all of this talk about how she is a racist and he should hate her for all the comments she's made. He believes this is some kind of compliment.

He is unbeatable, that is what she was trying to say. if tiger was white, this wouldn't even be a big issue. Kelley has been suspended without pay for an undecided period.
