Tiger Woods’ ailing half brother accuses him of giving a cold shoulder
A stunning new revelation might just prove to be the proverbial last nail in the coffin of the former world number one, Tiger Woods, as he starts off his bid for the fifth Masters title today at Augusta National.
Woods half brother Earl Jr. has now claimed that Woods has not been receiving their calls nor replying to their messages for a considerable period of time, despite of another ailing half brother Kevin Woods who is suffering from cancer.
Earl insists that the families have been aloof and there have been no contact between the two families but Kevin’s current conditions have prompted them to seek help from their rich brother.
Earl said, "I leave messages. I leave updates on Kevin, but for whatever reason I don't get a response. ... Kevin loves Tiger. A call from Tiger would really pump Kevin up. When he doesn't call, it just makes him feel worse".
Earl Jr., Kevin, and their sister Royce are Woods half family and were born from Earl Woods’ first marriage.
Tiger Woods was born from Earl Woods’ second marriage with Kultida Punsawad.
Reportedly, Kevin, 52 is suffering from multiple sclerosis since 2009 and has now on the brink of losing his house. He is not able to work or support himself and is in need of help from Tiger.
Earl added, "We haven't asked Tiger for a dime. Not even tickets to a tournament. But Kevin's losing his home. He needs a caregiver and he can't have a caregiver and keep his home at the same time. And we can't do that, we don't have the means".
The new revelations from his distant family are likely to have dire repercussions on Woods’ performance in the event ahead where he is hoping to land the title to restart his major winning spree.
Not only Woods is bugged by the current problems from his family, he has already been engulfed by his former coach Hank Haney’s latest release “The Big Miss” where he has shed some light into the secretive life of Woods.
Woods is coming out of a strong season so far, winning his first PGA Tour title, The Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, after a lapse of 30 months.
Woods insists that he is in great form to bag the title amid a plethora of strong opponents.
