Tiger Woods and Golf crazy Romo fire up to play at pebble Beach
Tiger Woods is prepared for the exciting tournament at Pebble Beach and is receiving his swing videos from his partner, Tony Romo.
Woods talked to ESPN, revealing that Dallas quarterback Tony Romo, has been sending him text messages and his swing videos.
Romo wants Woods to finish on top of the leader board by making slight changes in his swing.
"He's just so fired up about playing," Woods said of Romo's enthusiasm. "He's a h**l of a golfer to begin with. He's a scratch golfer. To him this is like a dream come true for him to come out and play in this type of event".
"He wants to not just make the cut," Woods said. "He wants to win the tournament so he's trying to figure out, 'How many birdies I need to make and blah blah blah.' And I said, 'OK, well, why don't we just both play well at the same time".
Romo is a celebrity partner of the great American golfer of all time. He wants his and Woods's names on top of the scoreboard.
That is the main reason he was continuously sending messages and videos to Woods.
The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is starting from Thursday, February 9, 2012. Woods is the hottest player in the field but teaming up with the National Football League (NFL) star has put him in the spotlight.
This is the most important factor for both the celebrities, who belong to golf and NFL. Both of them are ready to spice up the event.
Their goals are high and they are equally enthusiastic to achieve some desired targets in California.
On the other hand, Romo is gaining respect by playing golf most of the time. He is famous for his achievements in NFL and is now playing as an amateur in golf as well.
Similarly, this will be the second time both stars are pairing together. As in the past, they first teamed up at the AT&T National at Congressional in 2009.
Now, the event is the same but the venue is Pebble Beach in California.
Romo is also planning to record his first victory as a celebrity while pairing with Woods. And their pair at the Professional Golf Association Tour event will definitely attract spectators to the course.
