Tiger Woods equals Jack Nicklaus in PGA Tour wins, the tiger of golf is roaring a comeback!
Tiger Woods has thrashed the critics all over the world with his 73rd PGA Tour victory. He has also equalled the 2nd all time record for the most PGA Tour victories with legendary Jack Nicklaus.
The criticism that Woods has faced has been out of limits and has harmed him in numerous ways. His stature as a golfer was completely shattered after his professional and personal issues that have haunted him for a long time.
At the same time, the criticism is justified, keeping in mind the continuity of his bad form and numerous missed cuts.
It has taken Woods a long time to get himself back in shape to perform the way he used to. It is very pleasing to witness him giving a magical play of golf once again.
It is the upcoming tours that will determine the consistency that Woods desperately requires after his Memorial win.
Jack Nicklaus has praised Woods for his win at the Memorial tournament and has high hopes for the 36-year-old golfer’s future. He particularly praised his birdie in the final hour that shocked everyone.
“That was the most unbelievable, gutsy shot I have ever seen,” said Nicklaus.
The style of play Woods exhibited this Sunday was phenomenal and gave a glimpse of the golden years Woods once had.
His swing had plenty of issues in the past and even a million dollar ‘swing doctor’ could not help Woods in getting the right swing. On the other hand, he forgot about the swing, gave his level best and eventually defied every weakness that was once hampering
him.
He seemed ecstatic and delighted regarding his win and had the right amount of hope and energy needed for his future tasks.
“That was some good stuff out there, I never really missed a shot today,” said a delighted Woods.
After all the bad that has happened to this legend, he deserves a good boost to regain his glory, as he clearly still has it in him. He has given us the most amazing play in the history of golf and without his presence, golf would have never been this popular.
If Tiger Woods remains consistent, he will rule the world of golf in no time!
