Tiger Woods going through a fitness crisis: Golf News
The fourteen-time major championship winner, Tiger Woods is undergoing problems yet again, but this year, they don't link him with women. Woods injured his knee and Achilles tendon in the third round of the Masters and is now suffering because of the injury.
Despite being hurt, the player did well in the final round and finished the first major championship tied for fourth place.
That performance, where Tiger showed a glimpse of the 'old Woods' on the golf course, was the last time he played until now. The player missed the Wells Fargo Championship due to his injury but was supposedly fit for the Players Championship. Playing the
first nine holes of the world’s richest tournament, the player opted out as he limped off the golf course.
Not only did Woods shock his fans by opting out, but his performance

on the front nine was horrible. The player posted a 6-over par 42 and also made

the first triple bogey of his career. There was a time when Woods won the US

Open on a broken leg, but his performance hinted at the end of the Tiger Era. The player really needs to rest and recover and be all fit for his next tournament.
Woods' website reported yesterday that it is ‘doubtful’ whether the player will play in the Jack Nicklaus Memorial Tournament which will take place in three weeks at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The player has won the tournament a record four times and was expected
to be on the course. Woods is five major wins short of Nicklaus’ 18 major win record. His era might be over but there are also chances of Woods rising from the ashes and showing that he still has what it takes to be the best player. Currently ranked number
eight in the world, Woods said there was no further damage to the injuries.
Regardless of how he is now, Tiger Woods is determined to take part in the US Open. While speaking to reporters, Woods said, "Aggravating my injury is very disappointing. I'll do whatever is necessary to play in the U.S. Open, and I'm hopeful I can be there
to compete."
