Tiger Woods now challenges the rule book, continues bad form!
Here we are again. Tiger Woods now wants to change the rule book by suggesting that slow play should be penalized by strokes.
This man is not getting anywhere with his game and now he is pushing the trash towards the rules of the game, the same rules, under which he once ruled the world of golf.
His recent games have proven just how bad his recent form is. His finish at The Players Championship was absolutely pathetic, keeping in mind his stature and career.
Woods missed the cut at the Wells Fargo Championship. On top of that, it took him 4 hours and 52 minutes to do so.
When Woods was asked to compare his current performance with the performance he had four years ago at the PGA Tour, he had an honest reply, "Worse".
He has clearly rejected the fact that players are fined around $5,000 to $20,000 for slow paced play and forces the PGA rules to switch to warnings.
"I think it's very simple, if you get a warning, you get a penalty. I think that would speed it up" said Woods.
The blame game that has become a habit for Woods continued this week after his poor play at The Players Championship.
"Strokes is money, I would take the five grand (fine) over the 800K. That's one shot. That's the difference. That's what people don't realize – that one shot is so valuable out here" said Woods after his play.
Woods had various issues with the media and his swing doctor recently. He has been blaming almost everyone and everything for his bad form and even looks disgusted with his own self while play.
The Players Championship saw Woods falling apart in something he ruled for ages. It is indeed disappointing for his fans to see their hero fall apart with his own hands.
Woods has been murmuring about the reasons for his consistent bad performances for a long time now, it is time that he realizes the true problem which does not reside in the rules nor in the way he swings, it is simply just him playing bad.
