Tiger Woods says satisfaction is the enemy of success: Hank Haney

Tiger Woods’ obsessions to greatness knew no bounds and in his pursuit towards the same, caused colossal harm to his reputation among his fan following.
The excerpts from Hank Haney’s latest book “The Big Miss”, set to release on March  27, are pouring in as the fans and critics anxiously wait for the slated date of release.
Haney decided to go public with the intricate details of Woods’ private life for the six years he spent with the former world number one as his swing coach.
Haney has been criticised for his reckless attempt to undermine Wood’s reputation and many of the professional golfers have called it a blow “below the belt”.
Haney further sheds some light on Woods’ obsession to join Navy Seals and alleges that he actually met Corey Carroll, a close friend of Woods’ who shared the secret that the former world number one have showed up several times at her home to get training
lessons from her husband who happened to be a Navy Seal himself.
Carroll said that Wood suffered a severe injury in his leg during a training session in 2007 at a Kill House - an urban-warfare simulator.
Haney recalled of how Woods once shared the story regarding the knee damage he suffered during a training session on a simulator.
He writes, "My immediate thought upon hearing Corey's account, which so closely paralleled that of the woman in Minneapolis, was that it was true. And if so, it meant that if Tiger never catches Jack Nicklaus, it will very likely have as much to do with
the time and physical capacity he lost as a result of his bizarre Navy SEALs adventure as anything else”.
Haney further elaborates Woods’ obsession to be one-of-a-kind sportsman in the history and he believed no superstar could ever be satisfied with any amount of fame and stardom.
Haney added, "In Tiger's mind, satisfaction is the enemy of success”.
Woods is currently preparing for a gruesome run of two weeks where he will play two consecutive tournaments before heading into Masters.
He re-ignited his Achilles strain last week during a PGA Tour event but now says that he has fully recovered from the injury.
The book is set to release a week before the first major event of the year, The Masters and is set to have dire repercussions on Woods’ performance in the event.
