Tiger Woods still finding redemption
Former World Number one Tiger Woods is still out of sorts, as it looks like something is still there stuck in his mind. The anger on his face has not gone as he continues to throw his clubs around while playing on the course.
This has been a roller coaster year for Tiger Woods up until now. Woods is still cursing himself as he hits a bad shot whether it is a drive or an approach shot. His fans simply fail to understand that the Tiger magic has completely disappeared.
Now, it appears that the spark in Woods has simply faded away. This was supposed to be a new Tiger as he returned to the golfing arena last year at the Masters. His fans were expecting that there might be a drastic change in his personality as he is present
on the course. The charisma is slowly fading as his misery continues.
As now a year has passed by, Woods ability to win has completely changed. It looks like he is only playing golf as he has a great respect for the sport and his fans. Over the years, it was his fans which supported him throughout the rough patches of his
career.
It has been a trying year for Woods. He has been spending more time with his two children. Woods has been trying to gain back redemption from the tournaments has played. The 35-year-old also did not perform well during the Masters this year.
Some still consider him as the Number one golfer in the world. There is still a spark in Woods to return back by winning a major. His image was shattered when his extra marital affair was disclosed in 2009. The world was shocked by the news and this was
a great set-back to the game.
Now, he has improved with his fans as he signs more autographs than before. His eye contact with the gallery is there, as the crowd wants him to perform every time he is on the course. Still, it gets difficult for him to card under par rounds while he is
playing.
The expectations on him are high due to the past performances. The fourteen-time major champion has always set his eye on surpassing the record of Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus holds the current record of 18 major victories.
Woods was playing in Dubai Desert Classic this year where he was fined for dissent. A video was recorded in which he was seen spitting on the course during the final round. This was another let down for his fans and the world as he is trying his level best
to improve his image.
Even though Woods has not won a tournament, his presence means a lot to the event hosts. The crowds on the course come in large numbers to watch the champion play.
This has been a frustrating year for four-time Masters Champion. One knows that he is capable of changing things in his favour. He just needs to bring back the Tiger form and the excellent shots which he is capable of hitting.
It is a quest for balance. Woods wants to reclaim his spot as the Number one golfer in the world. He has won an astounding fourteen major championships and is just four behind the legend Nicklaus. After a year without a victory, not everyone is so sure about
him surpassing the record.
After changing his swing and his game, Woods also needs to work on his personality.
