Tiger Woods; still struggling to achieve the lost winning form
Tiger Woods is struggling hard with his current playing form and facing some serious problems with his ranking. Currently playing at the Bridgestone Invitational gold event the living legend, Tiger Woods, faced some difficulties and was totally unable to perform to his fullest.
No doubt this golf veteran is going through the worst time of his playing career and the way he has performed at the Ohio, Firestone Country Club was a strong living proof of it. Tiger, who has already won this tournament 7 times before, is facing all the signs of bad luck and his poor form is making him even more frustrated and tense.
On the other hand the other American golfer, Phil Mickelson is considered to be the favourite for the new top rank of golfers. Phil is very close to the world title, as he needs to finish the event in top four and he is enjoying all the good luck and good winning form; it seems as the number one spot is no more in the Tiger’s hands.
On the other hand the English veteran golfer Lee Westwood is not far away from the top rank as well. Westwood is currently enjoying his best form and playing like never before. His sheer determination is a very vivid warning for the current top position holder Tiger Woods. To clutch the number one spot Lee Westwood needs to win the tournament which is not a mission impossible for a player like him. In the current event the start was not encouraging for the English golfer as his efforts seemed to be going in vain and he was a little disappointed with his performance as well.
Tiger was able to make three bogeys in the first five holes and he seemed a little uneasy during the opening round. His further efforts were not successful as well which made him even more frustrated about his bad winning form. Tiger is no doubt facing the worst time of his golfing career and it seems to be the end of his prime and rule over the golf world. Mickelson and Watson are playing confidently and are second on four-under-par. Australian golfer Adam Scott, Kenny Perry and U.S Open winner star golfer Graeme McDowell are also not away from Mickelson and Watson.
While taking about his splendid performance Mickelson told the world that he is having the best time of his life and he is very eager to clinch glory. He said that to maintain the momentum he had to go through some serious plans about making the shot and so far he is happy with the way he has done. He said that the lob shot going in the hole made him more confident and gave him a strong boost to perform much better. Mickelson said that it is really a very lucky time for him and he understands the right winning chemistry of the game and it seems the winning glory is no more away from him.
Bubba Watson had a very good day as well. Bubba thrashed a remarkable six-under-par 64 which showed his strong entity in the Bridgestone Invitational event. He is no doubt showing all his skills and matchless talent and telling the world that he is not out of the best players list in a very blunt manner. Watson, after his remarkable performance, told the media and said it was not an easy course to play on. He said that it is a real challenge for all the golfers as we have to make our own shots to get the lead over one another. Later Watson admired the beauty and speciality of the golf course and said it is a lovely place to play and he is happy to perform here. He added that he is confident and he knew that this event is going to be tough as the world’s best golfers are fighting for glory against each other and he will try his level best to compete to his fullest.
Even though this golf event is being enjoyed by the best golfers of the world but on the other side it is a real test for Tiger Woods. This is the last chance for American top golfer to save his lost prime.
