Tiger Woods visions himself as a successful golfer when he is 50-years-old, Why not at 36 Tiger?
Tiger Woods is getting back in the headlines with all the wrong reasons once again. In a recent press conference, the former World number one spoke about himself playing golf even at the age of 50.
“Absolutely, 100 percent agree with that. It just has to be on the right golf course. It can't be, at that age - well, by the time I'm at that age, it'll be some golf courses over 8,000 yards, it's probably going to be at a shorter golf course like you'd
find at a British Open ” said Woods talking about him playing at 50.
Woods is 36-years-old at this moment and his form has been pathetic since 2004.
For someone who is considered as the most successful golfer in the history of golf, the current form is a huge contradiction. It depicts a very bad image of someone who has such an outstanding career.
Success is measured by one and only one factor, consistency. Woods lacks consistency, the only reason why his golf has been out of charm since the 2004 season.
Woods is also known as the highest paid athlete in the entire world. His bank states an astonishing earning of around a US$ 100 million.
He has seen fame, fortune and luck in his life, yet, for some odd reason, his personal life and a few silly decisions caused him his entire career.
The infidelity scandal bruised his stature in the worst manner. He was involved in an affair with a night club manager who clearly denied the allegations about having an affair with the golf star.
Woods, on the other hand, appeared distressed and worried after the scandal. He endured minor injuries after driving carelessly near his home and received tickets for this act.
His personal life including his marriage suffered tremendously after the infidelity scandal and ended up in a divorce. This is the time when the great Tiger Woods started deteriorating as a player and a person.
After all of the misery he went through, he announced that he will remain invisible from the world of golf for an indefinite period of time.
The world saw him going through a rehab to cultivate his mind out of the worries that surrounded him.
He returned to play golf at the 2010 Masters Tournament.
Although we saw woods coming strong but he never caught the taste of his level of play after the issues he endured. We never saw the Tiger we all loved and respected as a player in the field with top-notch precision play and technique.
Woods spoke about playing golf at 50. Well, at this moment, he is 36 and all he should ponder on is how can he become the best in the world again.
