Tigers Fans! Why did they trade Pudge?

The tigers needed pudge yesterday...when it was extra innings but hey it happened and ps FERNANDO RODNEY always puts us in a situation he let kelly shoppach hit a home run....

Is it true that Selig can veto trades that aren't good for the game.  Oh right... In Bud's world whats good for the Yankees is good for the game just like having the World Series home field decided by an exhibition game.

I realize it might be a flawed argument, but I need to cope and come to terms with it... flawed logic will help :)

Here's hoping management knew something more about Pudge. Go Tigers!!

This is pathetic (not the trade, just this begging).  If Pudge gets injured in a month, I guarentee you'll be singing Dombrowski's praises for making the trade.

Because Pudge isnt as good as the money he makes. The Tigers have a good backup catcher in Brandon Inge. And our desperate for a new reliever slash set up man and bringing Farnsworth back can really help their bullpen

im a yankee fan and i am glad and sad about the situation. we now have a catcher that can help us in the line up as well as to give poor molina a well deserved rest. but farnsworth was starting to show major improvement and if we wanted pudge we should have gotten rid of someon else. i mean we got x-man and damaso marte for basically nothing. i think we could of weasled another good trade. this will help the tigers a lot becuase i know how bad they need a releiver and farnsworth has exeptional velocity, and is showing major improvement. so you should not be to upset about this trade

Yeah, good luck with that. Im a Red Sox fan, and everyone ive talked to about it, including myself says the Tigers got ripped off big time!
