imma tigers fan and im sick of the bullpen, zumaya is done, injury prone and he jus cant pitch good anymore. rodney has been terrible the last 2 seasons, i think hes shown management tht he sux and he needs to go. and jones is a ticking time bomb, sometimes hes good and others he is jus terrible. wat r ur thoughts on these 3 relievers? i no they cant trade them now during the season but i think in the offseason they should get rid of those 3 and bring in some other guys, whether its thro trades, signings or calling up players, i think they should go and we bring in some new guys...

  1. IM a Rays fan so keep them there did you see rodney allow that walk off walk in the 10th to the rays wat a crappy pitcher.

  2. Keep them on a pitch count like the Cubs do for Samarjia, Wood, Demster, and Harden.

  3. Im a whitesox fan and i think rodney is pretty good. He has a sick changeup.  Zumaya is garbage though

  4. Yes! Both suck and will suck next year if we keep them. Our management is s******g up bigtime! We need some new life in the bullpen-either from the farm system or a blockbuster trade. The Cabrera trade was allright, but we got taken for in the Willis part. The Renteria trade was THE major off season blunder. Jair Jurrjens would have made a difference. Yes! Unload Rodney and Zumaya--Jones probably will retire -he's 40 and no where to go. We NEED to overhaul this pitching staff from top to bottom. Nate "Hardluck" Robertson will be cut loose soon. Kenny needs to go also.

What happens next is left in Dumbo-ski's hands-unfortunately!

  5. Don't forget Kyle "Longball" Farnsworth.  Maybe we can get a bag of balls or a box of bats for this Gas can, who is a rest of the year rental at best, if we are lucky.  What a crappy trade that was.  A mediocre pitcher, with a chip on his shoulder, who doesn't want to be in Detroit for a still quite servicable former All Star and future HoFer.  Teams around the league who know they are contenders got better, Detroit stayed mediocre, obviously having thrown in the towel already.
