Hi so I am haveing a Quince (sweet 15) and I have 500 to spend on flowers. I want them to be pink.

The problem is the date is the day before Valentines Day. Now I just need one big center piece for my table. The rest of the tables are going to have vases with rose pedals in them. I also need to fill up my arch with flowers. And a few arrangements here and there. Any suggestions?

  1. I suggest you talk to the florist shop you plan on doing business with to see what can be done since the date coincides with Valentine's Day.

  2. Are you planning on buying real flowers? You may want to only have real flowers for your bouquette. Everyone else can have fake ones. The ones you pin on the tuxedos can be fake, they look real.

  3. fake flowers are nice and cheaper than fresh flowers, and you wont have to worry about dead rose pedels

  4. Welcome to Engagements and Weddings!

  5. Tell the florist what colors you want to work with and what your budget is and they will work with what is in season. Just stay away from roses. Or, you can go to a wholesaler or Costco and buy the flowers you want and make your own centerpiece.

  6. Costco! buy bulk roses...or anykind it is like $150.00 bucks for over 100 stems you'll def. save money this way, however you will have to put them together (arange in the vases etc..)

  7. use a couple of  white roses and the rest pink carnations and greenery, both cheaper than other flowers and i think just as pretty..

  8. Gerbera daisies and carnations would be your best bet for flowers. My wedding was a few days after valentine's day. We used the gerbera daisies because they were very affordable.
