Tightening my rubik's cube...?

Question

My rubik's cube isn't one of those DIY cubes with the whole set and everything, but should it also have a s***w on the center piece that I can use to tighten it? Or is it only those DIY cubes that have those screws underneath the center square piece?

unfortunately Rubriks cubes are often novelty cheap items that aren't made to last. i doubt that you could find a way, other than paying 3-5 bucks for a new one.

Unfortunately, you can't adjust the tension of an ordinary Rubik's Cube. All of the center pieces have a s***w, spring and washer. Be sure to adjust the tension equally to prevent popping of cubies.
