I put 6x6 ceramic tiles in my tub/shower area & grouted it too, how long does the grout need to sit before I can seal it? How long do I wait after sealing it to use the shower? I installed 12x12 ceramic tiles on a very small bathroom floor, how long does that grout need to dry before it can be walked on & does it need to be sealed like the other, if so how long does that sealer take to dry? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

  1.   Your best over all sealer is a pentatring sealer.. It can be used on all grout in 72 hours.. Tiles must be clean of all dust and grout residue.1 quart is enough to do 2 coats. (recommended) 1 coat and an hour later a 2nd. 24 hrs ready to be used.. Grout will set up generally in a few hours  but your safer to walk on it  the next day..HD  carries a sealer that I ve used for years to seal  stone tiles before setting..Comes in a green bottles and costs about 30 $ and it s called Surfacegaurd Pentatrating Sealer by Tile Lab GL

  2. Usually 24 hours for both but why not just check the labels ??
