According to the Sri Lankan skipper, “After we lost the first game (by eight wickets, last Friday), we still had the crowd come to support us. I'm sure even more fans will come on Friday. It's a fantastic feeling in the ground - they're supporting and cheering
and we feel it's like we're playing a match in Sri Lanka.”
The visitors are currently ranked number two in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 ODI team rankings and will be looking forward to winning the limited-over series against the Pakistani side.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972 was also confident of bouncing back in the series and he claimed that the team was enjoying playing in UAE.
The 37-year-old said, “The atmosphere, the stadium - it's really good to play here. Normally you feel the heat playing in the UAE but in this stadium in particular, the way it's built, it's really good for the players and you don't feel that heat.”
The veteran went onto say that it was a plus for his side to play cricket in this part of the world.
