Tim Horton's meat sandwiches and bagels?

when they cut thier meat sandwiches and bagels, do they use differnt knives?

also, lets say an employee just finished making a meat sandwich, will he/she change thier glove if they will make a bagel for the next customer?

  1. I doubt that it is normal procedure, but they will absolutely change them if you ask.

    I used to have a coworker who didn't eat pork and would ask people to change their gloves whenever she ordered something.  No big deal.


  2. Most restaurants have different colored handles for their knives. They are usually color co-ordinated to go with a particular food category (red = meat) (white = flavorless food , e.g. bread) (green = mild veggies, e.g. cucumbers) (yellow = strong flavored food, e.g. lemons, onions). My son and I eat at TH 3-4 times a week so I trust them. Yes I have seen them change gloves when switching from non PH food (non potentially hazardous foods) to PH foods (potentially hazardous foods).
