Ok well, this summer, I wanna work at Tim Horton's, I am only 13, I know you have to be 14, but im gonna be 14 in September, so do you think they'd accept me? I might have an advantage, because the manager knows me, since my brother works there, and she loves him, so what do you think?

  1. Sorry, but there are State/Federal child labor  laws.. that will not allow you to work at your age

  2. youl get it

  3. Yeah they will for sure.

  4. answer is no, because under employer law. The employer can only hire at person under 14 years of age only if that employee does not come in contact with anything that might hurt them.  Meaning if you are hired you most likely will work in the lobby or somewhere where you can injure yourself.  I don't know about TImmy's but if they have oil or anything that can burn you, you might not be working in the kitchen.  But there is always the service area.  Typically employers do not want to be lible for injuries to minors especially someone that is not of age.

  5. Maybe, but the manager just can't accept anyone. There are some requirements.

  6. nope
