Tim Lincecum or Brandon Webb?

timmy is only 23 so id take him

lincecum should win the cy young. the only reason webb might win it is because of his wins. lincecum has more strikeouts and a lower era. his bullpen also blew a ton of wins for him. i think lincecum is just a better pitcher

2.Lincecum is the best pitcher in baseball. He is on one of the worst teams yet has 15 wins leads the league in strikeouts by getting almost 10 a game like today verse the rockies. Is tied for the league lead in quality starts and has been solid the whole season. Theres no doubt Brandon Webb is also a front runner but give me one good reason why lincecum doesn't deserve the Cy young

For all the people who compare the stats between them, you really cant. Lincecum is a strikeout type of pitcher and doesnt pitch to contact, thats why is era is low and his SO total is so high.

Webb his a sinkerballer which means most of his out come from contact leaving more margin for runs to be scored. He only throw 85-88mph yet he is still dominating the the league with a sub 3 era and a decent strike out total.

Webb should take it because he is the best pitcher in the MLB.

Obviously Webb is going to win the NL CY Young award this year, no one is even close to him in wins and his era is pretty good as well.

Tim Lincecum. If he were on the Angels or the Rays, he would probably have over twenty wins at the end of the season. (At the very least) I think Tim Lincecum really does deserve the Cy Young. He is playing on a team that even if he has a good outing, it will probably be blown by the bullpen or there won't be much offense.
