Tim Nielsen appointed as Head of the Emerging Redbacks Program – Cricket News Update
Soon after his retirement as the Australian national team’s head coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Timothy-John-Nielsen-c94043 will now be taking on a new role with his home-side, South Australia, where the instructor will be heading the newly-created, Emerging Redbacks Program, which focuses on
grooming and developing young players for state cricket.
Following Nielsen’s appointment, the South Australian coach http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Darren-Shane-Berry-c52490 said that the 43-year-old Aussie’s inclusion will bring great value to the new initiative, considering his able mentoring talent.
“Tim has clearly travelled the world and coached at the highest level, so to have him involved is going to be another string to our coaching bow,” http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Joseph-Henry-Dawes-c69350, myself and now Tim Nielsen we believe we have got the best coaching

Based on speculations, Nielsen’s new role may have been handed over to him by the South Australian Cricket Association's (SACA) Director of Cricket, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jamie-Cox-c66230, who is also the originator of the Emerging Redbacks Program, and has worked closely with Nielsen
as Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746’s (CA) national selector.

The Director also cited the SACA is glad to have Nielsen on its ranks and is confident that the newly appointed mentor would lead the Redbacks Program to success.
Nielsen took on his coaching career after serving ten years as a wicket-keeper batsman for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844, after which he retired from playing, and joined the Redbacks as their assistant coach. He then became the head coach for the Centre of Excellence
in Brisbane from 2005 to 2007.
As for now, Nielsen, who decided to take a break from CA after leading Australia to a successful Tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758, will finally be making a decade long return to his home-town Adelaide, as he gears up to take on the new assignment.
