Following much overhauling in Australian cricket, the outback comes out with more news after it was recently learnt that the country’s national cricket team’s coach, Tim Nielsen, may survive the thorough reshaping of the management at Cricket Australia (CA).
Based on reports, CA’s Chief Executive, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Alexander-Sutherland-c65430, recently stated that Nielsen stands out as potent candidate for the soon to be announced coaching role.
The official also lauded Nielsen’s dedication to restore his designation with the national side while other ‘axed’ members on the CA management chose not to reapply for their posts.
“It's really for Tim to talk about what he wants to do but what I made clear to him at the time is that we're very keen for him to be a front-line applicant for the job and I don't see any reason why he can't be,” stated Sutherland following his meeting

However, despite having Nielsen as a candidate for the desired post, Sutherland also added that the board’s first priority at the moment looks towards hiring a general manager for the team who will not only review the performance of the side, but at the
same time, be responsible for playing a potent role on the selection panel.
“We're significantly advanced in consideration of the general manager role, that's obviously the priority as everyone knows. Once that person is identified and appointed then the review of other positions and appointment of other positions will flow very
quickly from that,” said Sutherland.
In a recent chain of events, the Australian cricket board has been making some out loud headlines for the matter, and all efforts are now being drawn into brining about a solid overhaul on the CA management as well as on the team.
