Tim Nielsen resigns as Australian cricket team's head coach – Cricket News Update

Cricket Australia’s (CA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Alexander-Sutherland-c65430, praised the 43-year-old Nielsen on his performance during what Cricket Australia described as a "particularly challenging time for Australian International cricket".
Nielsen has served as head coach since 2007, winning nine out of 15 Test series and overseeing success in 17 of the 25 ODI series during his tenure. He had replaced http://www.senore.com/Cricket/John-Marshall-Buchanan-c68302 after the 2007 World Cup.

Sutherland revealed that Tim was in charge during Australia’s reformation process, as most of their champion players have retired, and was strongly in favour of including the youngsters in the national side during his tenure.
He added that he was delighted when Tim renewed his contract with CA last year and had encouraged him to apply for the new extended and redesigned head coach role that the CA board approved last month, following the Australian team's performance evaluation.
