  1. Yes! He didn't seem pompous at all.  He was tough but never mean or rude.  He knew politics inside and out but never acted like a "know-it-all".  I learned alot from watching his program and his commentary on news programs. He made elections interesting to me.  I just cannot imaging the show without him.  He will be missed.

  2. He was so human and normal seeming.Could get into the nitty gritty of politics while keeping a smile on his face. Sunday mornings won't be the same.

  3. RIP Big Man !! Tim will be missed. He seemed very decent.

  4. Yes, Buffalo, NY and the rest of the country is in shock. He was such a good interviewer my condolence goes out to his family.

  5. Yes, Even though he was a Lib, Russert was fair and down-to-earth. No matter who he was interviewing, he didn't toss out the softballs. Even when putting on the pressure, he still managed to come across as a truly nice guy. The field of journalism lost one of the good ones today.

  6. And yet  God didn't see fit to bring Bill O'Reilly to stand for judgement. Something wrong here...

  7. According to Wikipedia, he died of a sudden heart attack so I must've have written him in my Death Note. Oh, here it is!

  8. Yup, and one of the smartest. He was very nuetral and didnt take sides ever. One of the few people who I watched every weel. Its really sad
