Southee, the 23-year-old pacer from Northland, said that they want to achieve more victories in the future.
"It's a pledge which has been around a long time. It's something we will make a tradition as Test wins keep coming,'' Southee said.
Speaking about his side’s domination against Zimbabwe, the Kiwi bowler said that a rain delay interrupted their victory, as they could have won inside two days.
"If the rain hadn't come it could have been all over in two days or two and a half days,” said the right-arm medium pacer speaking to the media reporters on Tuesday. “It was a dream day. Days like that are what you play Test cricket for. It was great to
have a win, and to win so convincingly and build on that game from Hobart,'' he added further.
