Tim Thomas-

.921 SV% last year

2.44 G.AA

1. Does anyone think this guy is underrated?

His stats the year before were...

.905 SV%

3.13 G.AA in 66 games played Yikes!

2. Do you think the 34 year old guy will keep his stats sharp next season? Or will he lower his SV% to .910 and have a 2.70 G.AA?

  1. Career year! Unless he sustains those numbers I think BOSTON takes a step backwards! Boston over-achieved last year from his play.. no offense to BOS fans! Fernandez is the back-up and hasnt played much recently and at his age that could hurt him. For the sake of BOS fans, lets hope he has another career year.

  2. I think he can, if chara plays half the game like last year, because he limits the amount of chances and good chances,

NIPS- i think that the bruins did overachieve for the amount of injuries they had, i believe the whole team missed over 250 games, dont know the exact number but i believe it was the most in the NHL, and bergeron will provide offense, ryder might help, and alberts will be healthy the whole season, and with fernandez back, the competition for playing time might inspire one of the goalies, so i could see them placing anywhere from 8-6 in the east.
