Tim Wakefield??

i know wakefield throws a fastball, a 12/6 curve????, and obviousl;y the knuckleball. and i know you push the knuckleball when throwing it. so does he push his fastball and curve???

  1. He throws the fastball normally, same with the curve ball. He only throws about 85 mph, but he's been really solid this season for us, so I'm not complaining.


  2. No he does not puch his fastball. He began throwing the knuckleball because his fast ball did not have a lot of velocity and he want to throw a pitch that would catch people off.

  3. He throws a 4 seam fastball. He uses the same "lazy" motion for his fastball, but he does not push it. His curve is thrown straight over the top, on the inside of the wide seams, and it is faster than his fastball. And no, he does not push his knuckleball.

  4. no of course not!!! If he threw it like he throws his fastball like he throws his knuckleball then it would be a changeup like 70mph because he throws his knuckleball like 70-75mph  and his curve wouldn't curve like it should!!!!

  5. yeah his fast ball is a max. 85 he slow

  6. i am sure he throws those pitches the same way anyone would.
