The goalkeeper has insisted that he is wants to prove himself at his new club and is confident that Hoffenheim have a great future ahead.
Wiese agreed a move to Hoffenheim earlier this month as he joined on a free transfer from Werder Bremen. The player had been linked with a host of clubs which included the likes of Real Madrid and had turned down an extension offered
from Bremen.

The German international claimed that he will win the hearts of the fans with his performances like he did at Bremen. He is confident that Markus Babbel has great plans to develop the side into a strong force which is the main
reason he joined the team. He admitted that the team has put in some impressive performances in the recently ended campaign and is looking forward to the next season.
“I am really looking forward to meeting everybody here. I was a fans' favourite in Bremen and I enjoyed their support. I want to earn that here too so that we can have success together. This club has a future. I am absolutely convinced
that we can build something big here, otherwise I would not have come,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the player praised the club for investing in some brilliant players for the next campaign. Hoffenheim have been active in acquiring players before the season even ended and have signed Eren Derdiyok and Matthieu
