Tim cahill! no respect!?

Question

tim cahills goal celebration against portsmouth yesterday was an absolute disgrace! he put his hands behind his back as if in handcuffs for his brother who is serving a long prison sentence for assaulting and nearly blinding a man!this man is scum and cahills not far behind him!what would the victims family think about this gesture?i never liked cahill anyway! hes always come across as an arrogant scumbag to me.but now i detest him even more! what do you think?

I feel his gesture was inappropriate but I can understand is feelings towards his brother even though the assault he carried out appears to have been vicious. Blood is thicker than water! I was unhappy with his actions but his main priority is to continue to play well for Everton and hope that we can achieve at least 4th place in the Premiership.

i think you're being overly judgmental. It was a gesture to his brother, who would understand it's for him. It wasn't celebrating his brother's crime or anything.

What grounds do you have to say Cahill's a scumbag? you can't put every family member into one category it's not fair.
