  1. No

  2. I'd never heard of him so, no.

Do you think he would have cried if he'd heard you'd died?

  3. No, but it was a bit of a shock

  4. I did get a bit weepy on Friday when I heard.  And again watching the special on NBC on Friday night.  And again this morning watching the Meet the Press special.

The man just oozed honour and integrity.  It was so obvious that he loved his life and that he loved his work.  I'll probably shed a few more tears over him in the days to come.

By the way, I read his second book - "Wisdom of Our Fathers" - and cried several times through it.  I have "Big Russ and Me" but haven't yet read it.  It expect to shed a tear or two as I make my way through it.

I know the word 'tragedy' is overused but that's the word that describes how I feel about his passing at such a young age.
