Time Warner Cable HD DVR, Opening Ceremony

i had my recording to record the opening ceremony friday at 8:00, but they moved the ceremony to 7:30, should my DR automatically correct the problem? I'm not home so i don't know what to do

I don't think the recording will change unless the cable company actually changes the info on the screen which they probably wont so you probably won't get it.
