I have the digital cable/DVR box. Im late on my payment - and they turned the signal off to my box. But I still have cable. All I did was unplug the box - plus I have another TV that was still working with no box. I plan on paying them in just a couple weeks. I have rent and gas to pay over cable. I was laid off so money is tight. Oh and dont say another about having interent - This isnt my internet so internet isnt a bill I pay. Anyways my question is about this box - are they gonna come get it, or will leave it til I catch up on payment. Will they cut this regular cable off that Im still getting, When I call my account is says my cable is cut off...I live in an aprt building where there is a side door that cable people go to, to switch the cable on/off.

  1. They are definitely going to want the box back if you are not planning on continuing with the service.  However, they will probably let you keep it for a short while to give you a chance to become current on your account.  After all, they still want your business.  Turning off the cable is just a way to encourage you to pay the bill.
