Time Warner Digital cable problems-- screen blacks out?

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. When I am watching tv, every so often (sometimes a few times a minute) I will be watching a program, and the screen just blacks out--usually I can still hear the sound, but it is just so annoying to be watching a show, then the screen blacks out.

I have rebooted my cable box, had techs come out, and even have a new box, but the problem still persists. I am unsure if others have experienced the same problem.

PS This happens with the higher channels, as well as the lower channels, and I do not watch HDTV that often, so it is not really with those channels, just the digital cable ones

try connecting your cable box to another TV set. if its working on another TV, have the first tv fixed or get a new tv.
