Time Warner cable/phone/internet service problems..?

Someone I know is having numerous problems w/their TW service. Is this like a common thing for many?

Make sure all connections are tight and clean, if not replace them.  that should help your problems. I had 1 bad connector and My service stunk- they replaced it and weve been trouble free ever since.

Iv'e had Time Warner without any major problems. They've even recently lowered my bill since I have been a customer for years.
