Time Zone? -explanation below?

I have a friend in Vancouver, Canada in Eastern Time Zone.

I live in Smyrna TN on Central Time Zone.

What time would "I" need to IM him.

I'm wanting to IM him about 3:00-6:00 his time- i what time would I have to IM him (include what time it would be at my house.) ---it's alittle confusing. A simple question. --Just not easy to explain.--any thoughts.

  1. Well its 2 hours earlier in Vancouver.

    So if it is  3:00 pm in Vancouver it will be 5:00 pm in Tennessee
