Time Zone is correct in Calendar, but a different Time Zone appears when doing Message | Post?

Question

I, and so far all of my group, am in Oregon (Pacific Time).

I set the Time Zone for the Calendar to Pacific Time and it appears correctly there.

However, when I do Message | Post, the time stamp on the message is for Greenwich time (8 hours later than Pacific). The settings are all correct on my computer (as well as in the group's Calendar).

Is there another place besides Calendar where I need to select the time zone for my group, so that messages are posted with the correct sending time?

This will take care of your problem:

Sign in anywhere on Yahoo.

At top of page, click on "My Account".

Enter your password again.

In the "Member Information" area, down just a little ways, to the right of "Time Zone:", you should see your area's time zone. Example: Time Zone: U.S. Central .

If it is not correct, Click on "Edit" to the right of "Member Information".

Scroll down to "General Preferences".

To the right of "Time Zone:", use the drop down arrow to select the correct time zone for your area.

Click "Finished" on the lower right side or upper right side of page.
