Time estimate?

Question

I have a question--

i am going to ride my bike to my job this summer, and it takes 12 minutes to get there in a car, so how long should it take me to get there on a bike? (average) thank you so much!!

Make a test run.

12 minutes on the hwy is 12 miles (@ 60 MPH).

If you could ride at 20 MPH, it will take you about 30 minutes

12 minutes on the street is much less (because of traffic and lights).

The bicycle and car are not that much different on the street.  Give yourself about 20 minutes.

i think u should give yourself 30 min. because knowing you, you'll c a cow and get distracted or a super awesome shark (they arent myths)
