Without any doubt Wales and The UK's greatest boxer of modern times, surely if any of our sportsmen deserve a knighthood then Joe does?

  1. Yes, most definitely!!! Totally agree with you!! Joe is fantastic!!

  2. I do not think he will ever become a Knight for boxing is not respected as much as most other sports. He beat an american boxer and that is about it.

  3. Definatley -  a true and humble sportsman

  4. Sportsmen should never be knighted. People, for example, in the nursing profession do a more valuable job than he does; publicity should not qualify you for a knighthood. Besides, he is arrogant, stupid, and has ducked all the best competitors he could have faced in America.

Knighthoods and the monarchy should be done away with full stop, actually.

  5. Not yet but he desreves it soon, a lot more than Bob Geldof anyway

  6. Not yet.

  7. Sorry, I disagree.  I've never even heard of him and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

  8. 100%, i will never tire of watching him beat hopkins (the wuss) into an embarassed mess

  9. He won ?  Nice one - maybe his setbacks made him a more complete fighter

  10. It definately is! He is an excellent boxer and a lovely man! He is a person to look up to.

  11. Certainly some form of accolade for his achievements in boxing.Maybe best sportsman of the year, anyway isn't up to those in 10 Downing street and the Queen to deal out knighthood's, it'll be up to them to decide.
