  1. 7.30 is a good time to start with. Im assuming you have not had any running experience before this. if you want to become a very good runner, join the schools track and x-country teams. 12 is a critical age. Just getting older and u get faster. If you train hard, you can literally drop minutes from that time because your body is getting stronger as u grow.

My time is 5.09 for the mile and im a 13yr old boy, just to prove to u that if you work hard, u can achieve a much better time!

I bet your going to be a faster runner.

  2. that's great!! i also ran it at skool and my time was 9min 54 sec! u should join a cross country team!!

  3. pretty decent. my son is 13 and he has his time down to 6 minutes 12 seconds. you should defiantly try to lower your time and join a cross country team. its good for you to set a goal and get exercise.

  4. Yes thats a decent time for a girls..

ITs good for your age..but you want to dorp it to about 6:30if you plan on running in highschool

  5. 7:30 is a good time.  There were people on my cross country team this year (9th graders mind you) who couldn't run 8 minute miles.  If you enjoy running, i'd suggest stepping up a level and joining the Cross Country team, as well as the Track team.

  6. Yes, that's a pretty good time. By the age of 14 you should be around 6:40. You should join the cross-country team.

  7. yup thats pretty good
