they want to check with the people that was there and find out who went missing as i think that they are what they are finding now, and yes justice should be done some of those people who worked there are still a live so let the police in the uk sort it out

I grew up there and it seems an awful lot of things are starting to add up now.

I have heard though that the airport and harbour are being closely monitored and people suspected of any involvement are not being allowed to leave the island.

So let me get this right. They cannot match any of this evidence via dna to any of the children that were listed at those homes?

Did this all happen whilst the germans occupied the islands during the war?

And yet they can date and say if a bone was from some Pharoah or the other or that a bone was from a member of the Russian family as of recent.

Well if Jersey doesnt have the resources for this then assign the best forensics to this particular investigation. OR is it that this is going to be swept under the rug by the Jersey hierarchy fearing what may be found out!

Articles like this make me sick, as in another poster, they can through DNA identify the Russian Czar..but they can't find out about these poor kids?

Yes I totally agree.

I'm sure that this is just the status as it is now. They are not going to just give up on those kids. They will be digging and looking for more clues until there is enough evidence to bring someone to book.

Why should the U.K.  government intervene? Jersey is not part of the U.K. It is a Crown dependency.

The U.K. is responsible for its military defense. Any laws Jersey makes have to be approved by the Queen on advice from her Privy Council.

I think more police and forensic help is required but Jersey's courts will bring the animals to justice.

I am so confused over all this. How come they can't date the bones? If they can date things like the 'Turin Shroud' and bones found from Neolithic man how come they can't date these? Is the process different? Perhaps, someone can explain this for me if they know as i'm finding it all very confusing. Someone has to be answerable for these sickening crimes and i agree totatally with the asker of this question.

Someone knows what happened there, but it may take some reward money to get the truth out of them.  I say question everyone that was remotely connected to that place, this can't be allowed to be swept under the rug.
