Time of the month,twice in a month?

Question

For the last 3 months now i have gotten my period twice every month, there is about 2 weeks between them, its gone beyond annoying now. Is it normal? And if so, WHY does it happen in such a short space of time? I hate it! And before anyone says my body is just getting started or used to it im 21 and started my periods when i was 12 and this is the first time anything abnormal happened.

no it's normal.....sometimes even at that age it's normal for ur cycle change due to sexual activity, stress, hard work (exercise) etc...

Have you had any added stress in your life recently? Have you made an lifestyle changes, diet, weight lose or gain? I have found those affect me and sometimes takes some time to go back to normal. If nothing different I would go see your Dr, but I have had that before and it always seemed to go back to normal.

its normal for youing girls but if youve been regular for a while now this is happening i would go to a doctor to see what is up with your hormones and such... it  soulds like it is anoying .. good luck!

It's not normal.. you should go to the gynecologist.  Sounds like your hormones are out of whack.

wow, if you are 21, then it is kind of abnormal. I've had this happen to me before (when i was 13) and when i went to the doctor i asked her and she said it was normal to have twice a month, unless it happened for many months. What was happening with me was that my cycle was changing, meaning the number of days in between my period was changing. I would probably say it is normal, but you might want to talk to your doctor about it. You might want to also consider how many days there is in between your period, that may also contribute to the fact that you get twice a month. If you get early, like the first days of the month, and you have lets say 25 days in between your period, then you're bound to get it again, at the end of the month.
