Time offset in Montreal?

Hello.

My friend and I are currently at a debate on whether the time in Montreal, Canada, has an offset of -4 hours, or -5 hours.

We checked up various sources, and they all either said -4 or -5.

What is the time offset?

London is 5 hours ahead of Montreal.

The time in London, United Kingdom is 8:54 PM on Friday, June 27, 2008.

Both are on daylight saving time.

It is the same as where I live

its GMT -5:00

Except here in Canada we observe daylight savings time (march to november).....so right now it is GMT -4:00..... so I guess you can both be right :)
