Time on phone isnt continuous?

My phone is just a week old an i have noticed in the past day or so the time isnt continuous but when i push a button it jumps to the right time. I dont know if this is normal for a LG phone or if its faulty. The time stops when it was last used then when i push a button it tells the right time. Should i take it back or is this nothing?

I think it is faulty cause no mobile will do this thing. if it is brand new you should take it back for replacement.

you phone should always have the right time on it, take it back asap!!!!!!!!
