ANY advise is much appreciated with this.

I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding in 3 weeks and my partner is best man(his brothers wedding!) however my 4 month old daughter is teething and won't take a bottle or sit with anyone else (she will scream the house down at either!)She's normally so layed back so I know this is the problem.

However she's going to MILs at 8 in the morning so me and my partner can both perform our duties. The weddings not until 11.30 then they will be pictures and the meal. After that I have something else more suitable than my dress to wear to feed her. What can I do before then though as to encourage her to take my expressed milk from a bottle(she used to no problem) and not to cry when with others.I know babies cry and its only because she wants mummy for comfort but this couldn't have come at a worse time!LOL!

  1. Since she is teething sucking may be causing her gums to hurt and that is why she is refusing breastmilk and bottles.

Here are some things you may try to get her to eat, and stay calm during the wedding and at your MIL house.

*Infant Tylnol- It WORKS WONDERS! It helps ease the pain, and inflammation of teething. (Call your Ped and ask about the dosage)

*Teething Tablets-Its homepathic and completely safe! Natural Remedy-Relieves pain for a little bit.

*Baby Orajel-Instantly numbs the gums but not for long periods of time.

Try these things and see if she will take her Milk. Hope this helps.
