Time shifts in BPO jobs(6 hr shift) - chennai?

Question

Hi all

I like to take up a 6 hr BPO job which requires handling International calls. Can someone answer my questions

- What are the time shifts offered by the BPO's

- Is there a 6 hr time shift available

- In chennai, give few names of BPO's who do Intenational call centre service.

there are many BPOs - wipro. infosys, tcs, hexaware and many more.

normally, the working hours are about 8 hrs. and more.  small companies may offer 6 hours - but jobs guarantee security are under threat.

good companies provide transports and security - choose good companies

Hi George,

frankly speaking the normal working hours in a BPO is close to 10 Hours (although it is said to be 8 hrs). Normally you will extension of a hour or two daily no matter what BPO it is.

6 hr BPO is very rare.

Slash Support as one shift that is 4 hour BPO. May be you can try that. Company wise also it is one of the well respected BPO's in India.

Apart fro that may be you will get part time shifts in Domestic Call centers like Airtel and not in International Call Centers.
