Time table for marriages?

Why do some women set a time table for marriage?

My last ex gf had one. She wanted to wed at 25. I think she was rushing it and looks desperate by having a time table.

Why do some women do this?

Well women feel more pressure to settle down earlier than men because unlike men who can father children until they day they die women only have a few years to do so; with careers and all now women have already put off childbearing into their thirties instead of eighteen or twenty like girls in the 30's were...I think that plays a big part. Some women want to get married because they want a big wedding and the romance and all of those things.

i have a slight timetable but only because i want to settle down and have kids so that my parents will be around for their grandkids and also so that i won't be the old mom on the block. i love kids and want to have at least 3 so i would want to be in my mid twenties when i get married.
