Time taken from Delhi Palam Airport to Old Delhi Station on a Sunday evening?

Reaching Delhi Palam Airport on a Sunday around 7 pm and got a train to catch at Old Delhi that starts at 10:30 pm. How long will it take to reach Old Delhi station? If my flight is delayed, which station will be a better option? I am travelling by Ranikhet Express

It takes around 20 minutes if you come by a taxi. Even if you delay by around 1 hour, you will be able to catch the train, provided you have got your seat reserved in the train in advance. No better option since New Delhi Station will take just 5 or 6 minutes less to reach from airport.
